Embraces
Within the Kamasutra the element of 'embraces' is
further broken down into several categories, the first four being;
touching, rubbing, piercing and pressing. These titles however, do not
particularly convey the literal meanings of the words;
Touching; the touching embrace is when a man
'touches' the body of a woman he does not know, with his own body.
Rubbing; when lovers are walking together in such
a way that their body's are 'rubbing' against one another, this is known
as the rubbing embrace.
Piercing; when a woman bends down in front of a
man she does not know and he takes hold of her breasts this is referred
to as the piercing embrace.
Pressing; if one of the lovers, whilst engaged in
the rubbing embrace, presses the body of the other up against a wall,
this is known as the pressing embrace.
As a method of 'arousing' the penis the following
caresses should be carried out;
Contact; without penetration the lovers should be
face to face and pressing their body's against one another. This is
acceptable practice for lovers who have just met.
Bruising; when alone the man should grab hold of
the woman's breasts, hence the name 'bruising'. This is also acceptable
for new lovers but they should be excited before hand for it to work!
Squeezing; for partners who have not yet had sex
the squeezing caress is where the boy pushes her partner against a wall,
pressing his penis against her.
Baring; again for partners who have not yet had
sex, baring is the act of walking in private or in public whilst
exposing parts of the body to one another. It is advised that the
exposure should not be too brief.
There are also four kinds of embrace that are for use
specifically during foreplay;
Encircling; the man circles the woman while she
teases him by bending towards him for a kiss but then pulls away.
Climbing The Tree; The woman places her foot on
the mans thigh and with her arms around him motions to climb and kiss
him.
Sesame & Rice; lying down, the lovers wrap their
arms and legs and rub against one another.
Milk and Water; face to face, the lovers press
against one another filled with passion.
There are several other 'embraces' described in the
Kamasutra;
Embrace of the Thighs; forcefully gripping the
thigh of your lover.
Embrace of the Central Body; whilst slapping,
biting or scratching his lover, the man clings to the woman's hair and
pushes his genitals against hers.
Embrace of the Breasts; the resting of the
woman's breasts on the mans body.
Embrace of the Head; the touching of parts of the
head such as lips, forehead and eye brows.
Through the texts, women are said to have some 26 states
of mind including charm, excitement, tenderness, moaning and stupidity!
It is said that the man must understand all of these states of mind
before rushing into intercourse or neither partner will experience the
true potential of the sexual encounter. He should engage in intercourse
only after careful analysis of the woman's mental and physical state.
It is stated that a man can find the best sex during the
summer and autumn with a girl of sixteen and in the winter and spring
with a girl between 17 and 30. In order to make the woman moist he
should grab her hair, kiss her head, rub her breasts and pat her
stomach!
